I have no recipe here to share. I just wanted to show off my handy work of my Star Wars themed birthday cake for my now 12-year-old. I’m posting this to say that if you believe you can, you will! All I had to go on was a 3-minute tutorial showing how to put Master Yoda together. If I took a guess, I must have watched the tutorial at least 1-2 hours.
If there is something out there, you want to try, don’t let fear and doubt hold you back. You have no idea how many times I squished his little head and started over. The worst that can happen is you start over until you get it right or realize another route is the best way to go. Never be afraid of plan B! (I was fully prepared to slap a toy Yoda on this cake if it did not work out). If you watch the tutorial you will see my work didn’t turn out perfect. And that is ok! The more I work at it the better I’ll get.
Be it in your kitchen or elsewhere in life your only limitations are what you put on yourself. Watch some videos, take a course, pick up books on the related topic, talk to other people and keep reaching for the stars.
What new thing do you want to try? Let’s discuss it! http://www.facebook.com/angieeseleganteats
